One of the key advantages of the ELZAB Prima K scale is the ease of setting its parameters to work with the selected ELZAB cash register. After selecting a cash register model from those listed in the scale menu, the scale guides the user through the configuration steps. The user does not need to know the individual parameters to properly configure the scale for the selected operating mode, as the scale does this automatically. Manual configuration of the scale to work with devices from other manufacturers is also possible. The ELZAB Prima K scale can operate independently, as well as with a cash register or computer. It is also possible to connect the ELZAB Prima K scale to both a cash register and a computer simultaneously.

Additionally, the ELZAB Prima K scale works with the ELZAB Talos printer, which can generate printouts containing the names of weighed products, their unit prices, quantity and value, and barcodes. The ELZAB Prima K scale with a boom is equipped with two displays. The operator display is located in the scale body, while the customer display is located on the boom. The alphanumeric, backlit LCD displays can display not only the price, amount due, and weight of products, but also their names. The high-quality displays ensure excellent readability in various lighting conditions. The keyboard is moisture-resistant and consists of 28 keys. The six direct access keys can also be used to total charges (for six operators simultaneously). Furthermore, there are menu navigation keys, tare and zero keys, as well as keys for entering the price, PLU number, quantity, and clearing the entered value. Additionally, the scale has a currency conversion key.
