A universal computer terminal with a "light" and modern design, dedicated to work at points of sale, self-service stations and information points.
The ability to install the display in a vertical position is often used at self-service sales stations and information points.
Compliance with the VESA standard ensures freedom in installing the terminal using a wide range of mounting accessories available on the market (e.g. Modular Mounting System).
The touchscreen can be operated with various types of gloves, making the devices suitable for use in dry and wet installation locations.
The product is covered by a 24-month warranty.
SUITABLE FOR CONTINUOUS OPERATION IN HUMID ENVIRONMENTS
The components used in the terminal are selected for continuous operation. The LCD panel is manufactured to industry standards, with particular emphasis on durability.
The screen's working area is a single glass pane that effectively protects the front of the device from spills. The casing also prevents liquids and dirt from penetrating sensitive areas of the device. The capacitive touchscreen resists wear and tear and responds effectively to touch in dirty environments.
The passive cooling system does not introduce environmental pollutants into the housing, so the 16CL-A terminal can also operate effectively in dusty environments.
FREEDOM OF ACTION
The high-sensitivity touchscreen can be operated with non-metallic gloves up to 0.8 mm thick. Thanks to this functionality, the terminal will also respond correctly to touch when wearing double surgical gloves. In tests conducted by Posnet, the screen also correctly detected touch through latex-coated textile work gloves*
* Tests were carried out using Firecrest Ligth gloves compliant with Class I protection category (EN420).
DUAL SCREEN LAYOUT
The 16CL-A's widescreen display offers native Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) and displays symmetrically in all directions (170°/170°). The terminal's stand is designed to ensure that installing the screen vertically doesn't compromise device stability.
Thanks to these features, several people standing in front of the display will be able to clearly see the displayed image, and the vertical screen layout allows for the convenient display of long lists of information. These features are often used at self-service sales stations and information kiosks. If the terminal is installed in a public space, the base can be permanently attached to the ground.
HIGH COMPUTING POWER
The heart of the 16CL-A terminal is the quad-core Intel Celeron J4125 processor, fabricated using 14nm lithography. This unit offers a successful compromise between performance, low thermal emissions, and an attractive price compared to other popular processors on the market.
For example: Celeron J4125 is almost three times faster than Celeron J1900, almost 10% faster than Core i3-7100U processors and only 10% less efficient than Core i5-7200U*.
